My best friend got married yesterday. I was the best man, had this stupid little speech all planned out, and I nailed it. Everyone laughed, she cried, it was perfect. And I should’ve been happy, right? But the second I got home, I just sat in my car and stared at the dashboard.
Because she’s out there living her best life, and I’m here, scrolling this app, telling strangers how I have no clue what I’m doing with mine. I’m happy for her. I really am. I just… I wish I was happy for me too.
I know it's sad ,because I've been there ,been genuinely happy for people but then you start asking yourself "how about me ?".But that's how life works man you just gotta believe that everyone get their turn just be patient and everything will work out for you just like it did with your best friend :)
