You're looking at a text within a box. The color of the box, color of the text and the text itself all represent different colors. Pick the box color that represents the color used on the text.
Colored Words is a free brain game that challenges your ability to process conflicting information. In each round, you see a word inside a box. The text itself, the color of that text, and the color of the box represent different colors. Your task is to ignore the literal text and identifies the actual color used on the text.
I built this game to leverage the Stroop effect—the mental lag that occurs when your brain receives mismatched signals. It sounds simple, but when the word "Blue" is printed in yellow ink, your brain naturally wants to read the word instead of seeing the color. It is a direct test of your inhibitory control and processing speed.

"It’s way harder than it looks! My brain keeps wanting to click the word I'm reading rather than the color."
- ColorCoder
"A great mental reset. It really forces you to stop and actually see what is on the screen."
- FocusMaster
The interface is designed to be minimal so you can stay focused on the task. Success depends on your ability to override your natural reading instinct in favor of pure visual processing. Colored Words is available anytime for a fast, effective workout to keep your mind sharp.
